What is Pay Ahead?
Pay Ahead is a feature that allows your customers to pay online. When the customer is sent the 'Ready for Pickup' text it will include a link to a checkout page. This page will outline their services, taxes, and any discounts or deposits. It also allows your customers to use other payment methods as well, such as Google Pay or Apple Pay.
There is a $2.95 convenience fee that will be charged to your customer. You can even make extra money on online transactions by adding a convenience fee amount greater than $2.95. Anything over $2.95 will be sent directly to your Square account.
Steps to Enable Pay Ahead:
-Log into your Groomer.io dashboard-Click Manage Facilities
-Click on the Facility that you want to enable Pay Ahead
-On the tabs displayed above your info, click Pay Ahead
-Click Enable
-You will be redirected to Square Authentication, enter your Square credentials to secure the connection
