# What is Online Pay? (Square)

## Learn how to save time and even gain extra revenue, by allowing customers to pay their invoice online.

### What is Online Pay?

Online Pay is a feature that allows your customers to pay online. When the customer is sent the 'Ready for Pickup' text it will include a link to a checkout page. This page will outline their services, taxes, and any discounts or deposits. It also allows your customers to use other payment methods as well, such as Google Pay, Apple Pay or a different card than one that may be saved on file.

### How the Online Pay fee works

A $2.95 convenience fee is added to the customer's total when they pay online. You can set a higher fee to help offset your card processing costs.

Anything over the $2.95 convenience fee is deposited directly into your Square account. For example, if you set your fee to $4.00, the extra $1.05 goes to you.

To change your fee amount, contact **support@groomer.io.**

### Steps to Enable Online Pay:

**Square must be integrated before Online Pay can be connected.**

-Log into your [Groomer.io](http://groomer.io/) Web Portal  
-Click **Manage Facilities**  
-Click on the **Facility** that you want to enable Online Pay  
-On the tabs displayed above your info, click **Online Pay**  
-Click **Enable**  
-You will be **redirected** to Square Authentication, **enter** your Square credentials to secure the connection
